Property market booms in Warrington

An annual report has shown significant growth and regeneration to the property market in Warrington over the last 12 months.

Research from Warrington & Co has highlighted strong market activity for 2015, particularly within the residential and commercial property sector. Last year saw a high level of construction, investment and development which has led to an increase in confidence for the local economy.

Already recognised as a key location for investment and new business, this latest report will continue to boost Warrington’s reputation. Employment and job creation in the town has also seen a surge, with future business relocations expecting to create an extra 4,500 jobs in the next year - a factor which will have an effect on the demand for rental property from tenants.

The Northern Powerhouse vision also seems to be having an affect on the area, with more people than ever flocking to relocate to Warrington. Statistics have shown that approximately 704 new homes were completed in the town during 2015, with many of these classed as “affordable homes”, increasing the town’s economic prosperity.
